About the Studio

I’m Horten, the designer behind Nou, which I founded in London in 2022. I’ve helped entrepreneurs and brands create visual identities, websites and marketing materials, especially those looking to grow and establish a strong digital presence.

My experience ranges from independent businesses to larger teams like Apple, where I learned how thoughtful collaboration drives creativity, efficiency, and exceptional results.

I kept meeting business owners who needed a website and creative support but didn’t want to work with an agency. They wanted someone they could trust to understand their business, give their brand direction and help them attract the right clients. So that’s what I do now: I work with service businesses to build brands and websites that reflect the quality of their work.

HOW I WORK

I keep Nou small on purpose. It’s me, plus a few trusted collaborators I bring in when a project needs them, a copywriter, a developer or another designer. You work directly with me throughout.

I only take on a few projects at a time so I can give each one proper attention. I also support agencies when they need an extra designer on a client project.
